This video comes from one of the guys on YouTube that follows the Southern Rock Racing Series. He started naming the offroad park crawling and mud bogging videos “Rednecks with Paychecks.” This footage is of some attempts made on a nasty ledge where the guys were fully committed to making it to the top or rolling their rigs trying.
I came across some recent footage of 7 time indoor and outdoor trials motocross World Champion, Toni Bou. It’s some fan footage of him dominating the course in a round held in the Bercy region of Paris.
Check out this killer K24 swapped EG6 Civic time trial car. The K24 is the 2.4 liter inline 4-cylinder engine that we originally got here in the US in the Acura TSX. It now powers the current generation Civic SI. It’s sort of become the go-to big block engine for naturally aspirated Honda power in racing applications. Wait for the in-car footage to see how well this particular machine is sorted.
The Motor Trend YouTube channel continues to impress me with how well they present truly interesting content. On this episode of Epic Drives, Angus Mackenzie pays tribute to fellow Brit Stirling Moss’s victory in the Mille Miglia in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. He drives some of the same roads in the car from the current Mercedes lineup that best resembles the car that Moss drove, the SLS Roadster. The video takes a look at both cars, the history and significance of the race and why Stirling Moss’s victory was so special. They even get Moss to drive the SLS for part of the course and interview him at the end. I do not envy the writer who has to follow this masterpiece on the next episode of Epic Drives.
