Red Bull created the largest freestyle motocross course ever built for the second stop of the 2012 X-Fighters championship at Glen Helen. The course was cut into the side of giant hills next to the raceway.
The Audi R8 GT is the ultimate version of Audi’s mid engine, all wheel drive sports car. The GT is over 200 pounds lighter than the regular R8 and the engine output was raised to 552 horsepower. Only 333 coupes and 333 roadsters were made worldwide. 14 of those Audi R8 GT’s gathered together for a 7700 hp parade to wish the R8 LMS cars luck at the 24 hours of Nurburgring endurance race. It worked since R8’s placed 1st and 2nd.
This is my favorite video about Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni. It was released soon after he announced his retirement and Lamborghini built a special two wheel drive Balboni edition Gallardo in his honor. He takes the car out for a casual spin through the mountains while discussing his role in ensuring the development of Lamborghini’s new cars lived up to the company’s history and tradition.
