BMW set up their entire collection of Art Cars in a parking deck in London in order to provide an extra interesting attraction to the folks visiting to watch the Summer Olympics.
The Insane Racing Team is made up of five Norwegian guys who drive a bus around to all of the Formula Offroad events in Scandinavia. The car gets half of the bus and then the 5 guys live in the other half. In order to be competitive, Insane Racing is running an LS7 from a Corvette with a 200 shot of NOS to bump their power output to 700 hp. That engine is attached to an upgraded Powerglide transmission that is identical to the one used in the Gravedigger monster truck and can handle 2000 hp. Be sure to turn on the captions with the “CC” button on the bottom right to the left of the resolution gear. The video has footage of the car in action and introduces you to all of the team members.
I was hoping to post one of the new Ferrari 458 Spider reviews that cropped up on YouTube, but they were all kind of disappointing. None of them were as good as Vicki Butler-Henderson’s review of the car from last year. She really nails what makes the Spider special over the 458 Italia. The car is so good she almost cries.
Hurst Shifters put together this video of a truck they’ve sponsored to run in the Goodguys autocross series. It’s a Chevrolet C10 built by No Limit Engineering that rides on a tube chassis and RideTech suspension and an LSx under the hood. Sounds like a formula for success to me.
