Motor Trend’s Jessi Lang Learns to Drift From Ken Gushi

Jessi Lang was more or less the pretty face that Motor Trend brought in to read the news and do interviews for their YouTube video series. Kudos to her for being enthusiastic about her job and getting more involved. Jessi’s latest episodes on the Motor Trend channel have been about her getting involved and learning some different aspects of motorsports. Here she’s learning the basics of drifting from Formula D star Ken Gushi. They start off in a stock Scion FR-S and then they go for a ride in Ken’s fully prepped race car.

Baja Trophy Truck on Tarmac – Hot Rod Magazine

Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine set out to show off the capabilities of Cameron Steele’s Desert Assassin Trophy Truck by doing some comparisons that most of us can understand. They take the truck in desert racing specifications and put it on a drag strip and have it turn in a hot lap around Willow Springs. The guys also brought along a Ford Mustang Boss 302 and Raptor for comparison’s sake. The speed they get out of the trophy truck is pretty impressive and I always enjoy watching machines excel at things they weren’t specifically designed for.
